The movie Frankenstein is VERY close to the novel. Unlike other "books to movie" films Frankenstein stays true to the tale. Victor is made to seem more social in the film, which is one of the few differences in the film. The movie captures the horror in Mary Shelley's book, Frankenstein.
Rpbert Deniro (The Beast) stars in "Meet the Fockers" and "Limitless", Helena Bonham Carter (Elizabeth) stars in "Harry Potter" and "Sweeney Todd". These were great choices for the film because they both have a "creepy" factor about them. These characters were dressed more gothically than I thought they would be. In the film the characters are meant to have more of a "chill factor" to them, to set the mood of creepiness.
